Navigating Through These Crazy Times

Well its now the end of beginning of November and for the last 8+ months we have been trying to navigate what this world is going through. So many emotions flood through my mind daily. This is serious I need to stay vigilant but yet at the same time, I'm over it. I can't be over it though, I'm a mama, wife, sister and daughter I need to keep my guard up. Its so tiring, I am legitimately tired ALL THE TIME. I'm sure I am not the only one. We are supposed be staying home more, wearing masks if we go out. Hearing so many people just fighting all the time. I get it, everyone has their own beliefs and we have the right to have our own beliefs but there is NO need for all the fighting. I am so done, how do you explain to the kids that you can have your own option some people may like it and some won't but be careful what you say because someone could just start fighting with you or ruining your entire life because you have an opinion. There is no more civil discussions.

My goodness its just wrong. Honestly these are the times, that I just wish I could live in my own world with my little family by myself, its all SO draining. I wish we could all seriously just get rid of Social Media all together...I feel this is the major problem with all of this! So many people just say mean and unkind things and just don't care how it hurts someone else. We have stopped caring for people. ( Again this is my option and I am just sharing my thoughts out loud for once) We are all people made by God. I heard a song the other day written by 14 year old Arie Camp called What We Need and sung by her and her friend Alena Pitts. Are you kidding me we have a 14 year old and 16 year old getting this right but yet most of the people in this world just want to live in such anger and hate with each other. Just look at these words...we all need to just study these words right now. We need change NOW.

Here is the link to the song on You Tube https://youtu.be/Uv-wlLPyZb4 but also here are the lyrics below..

With liberty and justice for all

We need to stand up when others fall

We’ll fight for each other, we’re one let’s stand together

No matter what race we all need his grace

Can’t we have peace
All I want what we need
Can’t we have love

We’re all made from the one above

Violence more hearts are silenced
Excuses that don’t add up
We’re all chosen and beloved
So let love come down
Let’s tear up this ground

And the walls that we built

This world is broken all our tears have made oceans

Lord come down we need You now

All I can say is that we need to navigate however works best for us individually and for our families. NOT anyone else. We also can't judge anyone else for their decisions they make for them or their family it is their choice. If you don't like it, guess what you don't have to because you are doing what is best for You and Your family and so are they.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

As always God Bless

Carrie

Life with puppies and the lessons they teach us

Lets talk about our four legged friends...we have a lot of them, so we could talk for a long time! These puppies and not just ours, teach us so much about LIFE, don't they?! As much as they drive me crazy, I truly love them all.  Everyone who knows me, knows I was never an animal person until I met my husband and he had Moe aka Moe Moe. He was a beagle. Once I met that dog, man I just needed to get another one. Moe was just crazy haha, that dog and Nick were best of friends and I realized what it meant when people say " a dog is a mans best friend" that was 1000% true for Nick and Moe. Moe went everywhere he could with Nick, he was always right at the door when Nick got home and when he was single he was Nicks dinner partner every night! When I say dinner partner I mean this dog tried to eat all of his food at any chance he could! This dog LOVED food. I could go on for hours about his issues but I won't do that to you all! When I met Nick, Moe actually welcomed me i...
