Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuits

Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuits
(using Grand's Flaky Biscuits)

One thing we have always loved in our family old and new is bacon, egg and cheese biscuits from McDonalds. Well trying to cut back and save money and not eat so many things from take out. I said lets try to make them at home. They won't be exact but lets do this!

So this is what I did and it was a hit for 3 out of 4 of us! The 4th doesn't eat eggs so she had the biscuit and bacon :-) Its now a every other Saturday tradition!
Here is what you need to make 4:

        - Grand's Flaky Biscuit tube
        - Eggs (4 eggs)
        - Precooked bacon package
        - Deli Cheese

Cook your biscuits how instructed on the package, when they are just about done (4 mins left or so) scramble your 4 eggs in a bowl and pour into a non stick pan.

Let your eggs start cooking peel the edges up with a spatula and tip your pan so your eggs pour over the edges while cooking (almost like your making an omelet). When the eggs are just about done, flip the whole egg mold over as one (this can be tricky, just do your best). Once they are flipped just turn your pan off because the pan is hot enough and you don't want burnt eggs.

Take out your biscuits they have got to be done by now :-)
Next, take a cup and cut our a circular mold add cheese and your bacon to the top of the eggs. We use 1 and 1/2 pieces of bacon for each one.

Time to assemble..... take your biscuit open it up and place the egg, cheese and bacon combo on and top it with the biscuit!

Wahla! You have a yummy breakfast sandwich.... My husband, Nick says "its best to serve with OJ too! Don't forget the OJ!"

PLUS you will have extra pieces of eggs from cutting out the circles so if you have hungry people who want more than the biscuits there is a bit more protein for them to have to hold them over.

I hope you try this and IF you do, please tell me how it went! I would love to know!

As always,
GOD BLESS,
Carrie

Life with puppies and the lessons they teach us

Lets talk about our four legged friends...we have a lot of them, so we could talk for a long time! These puppies and not just ours, teach us so much about LIFE, don't they?! As much as they drive me crazy, I truly love them all.  Everyone who knows me, knows I was never an animal person until I met my husband and he had Moe aka Moe Moe. He was a beagle. Once I met that dog, man I just needed to get another one. Moe was just crazy haha, that dog and Nick were best of friends and I realized what it meant when people say " a dog is a mans best friend" that was 1000% true for Nick and Moe. Moe went everywhere he could with Nick, he was always right at the door when Nick got home and when he was single he was Nicks dinner partner every night! When I say dinner partner I mean this dog tried to eat all of his food at any chance he could! This dog LOVED food. I could go on for hours about his issues but I won't do that to you all! When I met Nick, Moe actually welcomed me i...
